Will my skin always peel?
Not necessarily. Some peels produce very little visible peeling, while others may cause light flaking over several days. The amount of peeling does not determine how effective the treatment has been.

Clinical Peels Q&A:

WHAT ARE THE RISKS?
You may experience a slight redness which subsides within a few hours. In the few days following the treatment, you may also experience some light peeling. This is normal as the skin undergoes its detoxifying process and is easily covered with makeup.
Due to the ingredients used, our clinical peels are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Your skin will be noticeably clearer and calmer after a single treatment. Best results come from 3 treatments at 4-6 week intervals, followed by a review.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY PEEL?
Since the peels draw out impurities from deep within the skin, you may experience breakouts in the first 1-2 days immediately following the treatment. Best results are evident after 10 days.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE PRE & POST TREATMENT?
Pre-Treatment: Your skin must be prepped with one of our Vitamin A serums prior to having a Peel.
Post-Treatment: There is no downtime required for most of our peels (except the Deep Sea Peel) and you can resume normal activities immediately. However you should avoid strenuous exercise and/or swimming for up to 24 hours.
We always recommend the use of sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above should be used daily. If you are under the sun for prolonged periods of time, sunscreen needs to be reapplied at least once every two hours.

After Care
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks after your appointment
Don't pick or pull at any loose skin peeling
No active/exfoliating products for at least 5 days after the treatment or until you stop peeling
No facial hair removal for at least 14 days (this includes waxing, depilatory cream, laser)
Only use gentle products including Gentle Cleanser, Multi-Activ Mist, Repair balm.
Apply SPF daily.
Avoid heat, water, or product application for 12 hours. Failure to do so may reactivate the peel and cause an adverse reaction.
